Community Service Projects
Our programs are structured to enable member clubs to harness the vast resources of our international membership to address the emerging needs of their individual communities.
GFWC programs and projects focus on the major issues of our time—supporting women’s health, preserving natural resources, promoting literacy and equality, and encouraging volunteer service—and fall into the following areas of focus:
In addition to our six Community Service Projects, GFWC also fosters projects related to Special Programs. These Special Programs enable clubwomen to expand their knowledge and skills, contribute to GFWC's national programs, and be recognized for their achievements.
Current Special Projects include:
GFWC Signature Project: Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention (GFWC Illinois Special Emphasis)
