Hello GFWC IL!

I am thrilled to announce the completion of a two year project . . . the GFWC Illinois website merge is finally complete and we are live on our new site. Our new website combines all three levels of membership under one web address:  General, Junior, and Juniorette members.  Every member will find the information needed under this combined website. I encourage you to explore our new look and to share this with all club members

Members will find needed information under the EVENTS and MEMBERS CENTER tabs. All state-distributed material you may need such as reporting forms, directories, list of winning projects, etc., can all be found in the new Members Center. This area is password protected and gives all our personal documents a safe place to reside. Should you not recall the password needed to access the Members Center, please contact your Club President, your District President or Deana at Headquarters.

I extend my heartfelt appreciation to Karen Erb who served as GFWC Illinois Website Coordinator for many years . Karen put GFWC Illinois’ and many club and district’s websites together and has been a tremendous help throughout this process – Thank you Karen!

Convention Issue of the GFWC Illinois Clubwoman Magazine

You should have received your copy of the Convention Issue in the mail.  If you have not, please contact Deana at Headquarters. Please read through the Convention schedule, proposed Bylaws Amendments and Resolutions Revisions. Details on our workshops and service project will be finalized and released in the next two weeks.  GFWC Illinois LEADS Workshop info and registration forms can be found on page 27-28.  Deadline to register for Convention, LEADS, for meals and hotel reservations is April 15^th  Please join us as we celebrate your accomplishments and conclusion of this Administration.

And don’t forget….A special event “ A Diva- licious Night of Hollywood Glam “ will be held on Friday evening, May 18^th at the 123^rd Annual Convention in Peoria in support of Deb’s Diamond Divas.  Signature ‘Diva’ cocktail with commemorative glass, special raffles, music, dancing, plus much, much more.  Details are in the Convention Issue of the GFWC Illinois Clubwoman Magazine. Co-Chairmen, Amy Vicioso and Karyn Charvat have planned a Fun Night you won’t want to miss!
