Hello GFWC IL Juniors! I’m hoping your clubs are busy with your fall membership activities, service projects and of course, your Advocates for Children project! We are right in the middle of Advocates for Children Week and I’d like to remind each of you to please post and share your projects on our Facebook page so that all of our clubs across the state can share in your successes.

Your Junior Officers are busy preparing for our next State Board meeting, which will be held on Saturday, November 8th in lovely Effingham, IL. Please join us for a wonderful day of friendship and  information on Membership, Leadership and of course, REPORTING! More info can be found here.

If you haven’t yet signed up for Key Notes, our GFWC IL e-newsletter, what are you waiting for? Do so today at gfwcillinois.org and don’t miss out on one more issue! You can also download the latest GFWC IL Clubwoman Magazine there as well!

Club Presidents, please look for an invitation from me to come your way shortly. I’m putting together a President’s Retreat Day, where I will be gathering regionally with area club presidents to discuss club issues and challenges with each other. I hope this will be a fun, uniting and helpful activity over the course of this administration. We need stronger clubs in order to sustain and grow Junior membership throughout the state of Illinois and I need your feedback and input to do so! I look forward to meeting you all.

As always, if I may be of service to you or your club, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me!

Until then, I remain yours in Federation Friendship,

~ Karyn
