Hello, Juniors! We are just about a week away from the 119th GFWC IL State Convention! I hope you are all planning to join us May 15-17 at the Parke Regency Hotel and Conference Center in Bloomington.
Convention is such a wonderful time to celebrate the accomplishments of Junior clubs throughout our state and a time to reunite with friends both near and far. We will also be holding elections, welcoming in the new administration, and graciously thanking our current leadership for a job well done these past two years.
Junior Day is Friday, May 16th and we will once again be announcing our Girl Awards during the Junior Business session! Did your club have a Spark Plug, Junior of the Year or Outstanding Junior Service Award nominee this year? Please come out and support these fabulously talented Juniors! And we’ll also be announcing all our Junior State awards as well! With all of this activity, you won’t want to miss out.
It’s been an exceptional honor to serve beneath Trisha this administration! I hope EWE will all join me in wishing her well as she moves up to serve on the 2014-2016 GFWC Board of Directors on the Leadership Committee and as the 2014-2016 GFWC IL WHRC Chairman. We are so proud of you, Trish!
